Isabel Martinez - ConvenorIsabel Martinez will start a Master in Political Image Advice and Political Consulting at Camilo José Cela University. After her Dual Degree in Law, Science Politics and Public Administration she knew that Political Communication and Politics in general were her vocation, so now she is trying to make her path in this professional area.
She has been involved in UN Models and Debating and for that reason she has been actively in organizations as OrgComm of multiple events. With EUDC Madrid 2021 she is willing to close her University “stage”, bringing to Madrid a unique opportunity for the Spanish Debating Circuit, in order to return to it everything that it gave to her. |
Álvaro R Poblete - ConvenorÁlvaro R. Poblete is an Economics + International Relations graduate from the Rey Juan Carlos University with an MBA on International Finance from IEB (Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles). He currently works at business development for the proptech Atlas Real Estate Analytics after his professional experience at EY. He is the founding member of the URJC Debate Club, as well as the founder of URJCmun (the 5th biggest Model UN in the world). Furthermore, he has been the Director General and Finances Director at Harvard WorldMUN Madrid 2019, as well as convenor at the European Universities Debating Championship (EUDC) Madrid 2021 and at Madrid CMUDE 2021. He was also an auditor at the CMUDE Ecuador 2021 Council.

Alessandra Pereira - Director of TournamentAlessandra Pereira is an International Relations + Journalism student at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. Originally from Galicia, Madrid has opened her heart to hobbies and passions she cannot imagine her current routine without: competitive debate and events management are now part of her day-to-day life. She was the director of Madrid EUDC 2021, has led teams both in URJCmun - the biggest Model UN in Spain - and URJCmun TEEN, and is part of the board and treasurer at her debate club. She has also been part of the organization of BP URJC for two years, this being one of the biggest BP tournaments in Spain.
Madrid WUDC 2023 is her biggest challenge to this date. Hoping to grow, enjoy, and give everybody a good experience, directing WUDC is a privilege for her. |
Manuel Maseda - Director of Institutional RelationsManuel Maseda studies a dual degree in Law and Political Science at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In addition, he is also studying a degree in Communication at UNIR. He has studied courses in several Political Science areas: from political consultancy to governments and public administrations. He has worked as an advisor on different electoral campaigns and he also gives training on public speaking and debate in education institutions.
Maseda works at several young talent events: he has been Director of Institutional Relations at Madrid EUDC 2021 and he is currently the responsible of Institutional Relations at Madrid CMUDE 2022 (Spanish WUDC). In addition, he is Director of Logistics of the VI edition of SICODI (the simulation of the Spanish Congress). |
Andrea Reynoso - Director of registrationsWorking as assistant for the Cabinet of the Head of Government of the Principality of Andorra, Andrea Reynoso is looking forward to face new challenges being part of the Madrid WUDC 2023 as Director of Registrations.
She was already part of the Host Team in Madrid EUDC 2021, working as Director of Registrations as well and managing the stream. She has been immersed in the world of debate since 2018 when she began her Protocol, Event Organization and Corporate Communication studies at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, although she always felt attracted to communication and negotiation. Prior to that, she gained experience in data management and IT at the University of Andorra and also thanks to her interest in new technologies. |
Lucas Moreu - Director of LogisticsLucas Moreu Baldellou was born in Alquezar, a village in Huesca, near the Pyrenees. Zaragoza was the city he chose to graduate in Marketing and Advertising and Production of Events, Audiovisuals and Shows when he ended high school. At the age of 22, Lucas realized that Zaragoza had become small and didn´t have the opportunities he needed, so he decided to move to Madrid to complement his training. He is currently studying the third year of Protocol, Organization of Events and Corporate Communication degree´s at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid.
In terms of work experience, Lucas has been working since the age of 18 in the tourism sector. This position has given to him unique qualities to perform other jobs, ability to work as a team, people skills, leadership and organization, among others. He directed the staff and volunteers’ team in EUDC 2021 and in “WUDC 2021”, will be carried out in Madrid in December – January 2022 – 23, Lucas will serve as Director of Logistics and Social Events. |
Paula Gómez - Director of LogisticsPaula Gómez Jiménez was born in Seville, although at the age of three she moved to Madrid. She is currently studying the third year of Protocol, Organization of Events and Corporate Communication degree´s at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid.
About her work experience, since she was 16 years old she tried multiple jobs but the one that she was most passionate about was working as an event hostess at IFEMA. This job provided her with the ability to serve the public, work as a team and responsibility, among others. In “WUDC 2021”, will be carried out in Madrid in December – January 2022 – 23, Paula will serve as Logistics and Venues Manager. |
Isabella López - Director of StaffIsabella López was born in Chinchiná, a little and beautiful village in Colombia. At the age of three she moved to Madrid with her family and now this city feels like home for her. She is a sitcom and gastronomy lover.
She is currently completing her studies in Protocol, Event Organisation and Corporate Communication at Rey Juan Carlos University and dreams that her passion for events and communication will take her to visit different countries and cultures. She has participated in several UN models during her university stage, including Harvard Worldmun Madrid 2019. She is looking forward to bringing her knowledge, experience and joy to help make this event unique. |
Amparo Perucho - Director of Design and CreativityAmparo Perucho is a Valencian designer who graduated from the Universitat Politècnica de València in Fine Arts. After more than three years being a part of the debate circuit, her passion for design and content creation brought her to be part of projects such as Random Debate. When it comes to design, she is happy to become part of the creative team for WUDC, hoping to continue her path in an environment she knows and loves.

Juanjo García - Director of SponsorsJuanjo García is studying a dual degree in Law and Business Administration and Management. He has won several debate tournaments in Spain, and has organized the last three editions of the “BP UAM”, one of the most prestigious tournaments in our country. Juanjo is currently President of the Autonomous University of Madrid Debating Society, and co-President of the Association for the Model of Spanish Congress (ASICODI for its acronym in Spanish), which organizes that event, one of the most important models at national level.
He works as a debate and public speaking teacher in several educational institutions. He is delighted to be working on such an exciting new project as WUDC 2023. |
Paula Cabaleiro - Director of PressPaula is currently a Journalism and Media student at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Professionally, she has been an intern for Cadena Ser and she is the general coordinator of the digital magazine TimeJust. She has been working in the journalism community since her first year of university and is eager to keep nourishing the communicator side of her.
She has been Press Director of UC3MUN 2021 and will as well be for UC3MUN 2022. She has previously directed Press and Social Media in SYMUN 2019, and if it wasn’t for covid, would have done the same in 2020. In addition, she has participated in URJCMUN 2021, and all of her MUN experiences have given her the apprenticeship needed for directing Press for WUDC 2023. |
